c) SLTA Newsletter data
If you wish to subscribe to our SLTA newsletter, we require that you submit an email address as well as information that allows us to confirm that you are the owner of the email address provided and that you consent to receiving the newsletter and certain invitations of events.
For sending the newsletter we use the services of MailChimp. The provider is Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. MailChimp is certified according to the "Swiss-US or EU-US-Privacy-Shield". With the help of MailChimp we can analyze our newsletter campaigns. This allows us to determine whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links have been clicked on. In addition, technical information is recorded (e.g. time of retrieval, IP address, browser type and operating system). This information is used for statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. In case of corporate members this information is also used to announce the corporate membership in our social media channels and on the Website upon prior approval from you.
